Introduction
4 Legacy Construction LLC (“4 Legacy Construction,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of the people who visit our website. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected through this website, how that information is used, with whom it may be shared, how it is protected, and the choices and rights that may be available to you.
This policy is written to describe the actual behavior of this website as it operates today. It is intentionally specific rather than boilerplate: where the website does not use a particular technology or practice, we say so plainly rather than describing tools we do not run.
If you have questions after reading this policy, you can reach us using the contact details in Section 23.
Scope of This Privacy Policy
This policy applies to information collected through this website and through the contact and estimate request forms it provides. It also describes the limited technical processing that necessarily occurs when any modern website is delivered to a visitor's browser.
This policy does not apply to information exchanged during the course of an actual construction engagement. Once a project moves forward, information handling may be governed by the written agreement applicable to that project, and this policy continues to apply only to the website itself.
Information We Collect
Broadly, the website collects information in three ways:
- Information you provide directly — the details you enter into the contact form or the estimate request form, together with the acknowledgment you give before submitting.
- Information connected to a submission — the file names of any project photos you choose to attach to an estimate request, and basic technical details recorded alongside the submission.
- Limited technical information processed automatically — standard request data that hosting and security infrastructure processes in order to deliver the website, described in Section 8.
The website does not require you to create an account, and it does not ask for payment information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive categories of personal information.
Information You Provide Directly
We collect the information you choose to type into the website's forms. You decide what to include — for example, you may leave the phone number field empty, or keep your project description brief — but the more context you share, the more useful our response can be.
Providing information through these forms is voluntary. If you would prefer not to use the forms, you are welcome to reach us by phone or email instead.
Information Collected Through the Contact Form
The contact form on the Contact page collects the following:
- Your name and email address (required);
- Your phone number (optional);
- Your message;
- Your acknowledgment of the privacy notice shown beside the submit action.
The form also includes a hidden anti-spam field that is invisible to visitors. It exists to help filter automated submissions and is not used to collect information from real people.
Information Collected Through the Estimate Request
The estimate request form collects the information needed to understand a project before a conversation takes place:
- The service the project relates to, the project type (residential, commercial, or undecided), and the project's city or area;
- A description of the project and the desired timeline;
- Any additional details you choose to add;
- The file names of any project photos you select (see Section 7);
- Your name, email address, optional phone number, and preferred contact method;
- Your acknowledgment of the privacy notice shown beside the submit action.
Project Photos and Files
The estimate request form lets you select project photos from your device so that you can review them before submitting. When you select photos, they are previewed locally in your browser, and the file names you selected are included with your request record so that our team knows what imagery is available.
At this time, the image files themselves are not transmitted through the website to our servers. Photo previews live only in your browser's temporary memory and are released when you remove a photo, refresh the page, or leave the site — they are not saved by the website. If you would like to share project photos with us, you can email them to Info@4legacyconstruction.com, and we recommend that as the most reliable route for image content at this stage.
Please only select or send photos that you have the right to share.
Information Collected Automatically
Like virtually all websites, this site is delivered through hosting and network infrastructure that processes standard technical request data. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages or resources requested, the date and time of requests, and referring information where the browser provides it.
This information is processed as part of operating, securing, and delivering the website — for example, to serve pages, cache content efficiently, and identify abusive or automated traffic. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, and the website does not employ analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising technologies (see Section 9).
How We Use Information
Information submitted through the website is used for a narrow and predictable set of purposes:
- Reviewing and responding to your enquiry or estimate request;
- Understanding the project you have described so the first conversation is productive;
- Confirming whether a project's location and scope are a fit before either party invests further time;
- Operating, maintaining, and securing the website, including preventing spam and abuse;
- Diagnosing technical problems and improving how the site functions;
- Keeping ordinary business records and complying with obligations that apply to us.
We do not use information submitted through the website for unrelated promotional marketing, and submitting a form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or mailing list. There is no newsletter system on this website, and we do not send marketing email to form submitters.
Legal and Business Purposes
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we rely on the following categories as appropriate to the situation: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating a construction business; steps taken at your request when you ask us to review a potential project; compliance with legal obligations that apply to us; and, where consent is required, the consent you give when you acknowledge the privacy notice before submitting a form.
Because this is a business-to-consumer and business-to-business website, we do not process information for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service Providers
Because this website is a hosted website, delivering it necessarily involves infrastructure providers. Providers that support the site are expected to handle information only for the purposes for which it was made available to them and to protect it appropriately.
The primary service provider involved in the website today is its hosting and delivery infrastructure. We do not publish a vendor list of tools we do not use; if we add a service provider that processes personal information in a materially new way — for example, an email delivery service — we will update this policy accordingly.
Website Hosting and Technical Infrastructure
This website is served through infrastructure operated by Vercel, a hosting and content delivery platform. Operating the site involves processing standard request data — such as IP addresses, requested resources, and timestamps — on servers and edge network locations in order to deliver pages, cache content, and protect the site from abuse and attacks.
When a form is submitted, the information is recorded by the website's own server-side platform so that it can be reviewed and the enquiry answered. This is the path by which submissions reach our team. Basic technical logs relating to requests are also generated as part of normal operation, as they are for any hosted website.
Typography files used by the website are served from the website itself rather than through a third-party font or analytics service, so loading a page does not send your request to an external font provider.
Data Retention
We retain information submitted through the website only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. How long that is depends on the context — for example:
- An enquiry that does not lead to a project may be kept only as long as needed to respond and to keep an ordinary record of the contact;
- An enquiry that leads to a project may become part of project records that are kept for the duration of the engagement and afterward as business records;
- Information may be kept longer where necessary to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal, tax, or insurance requirements, or maintain security;
- Technical logs are typically kept for much shorter operational periods, subject to the infrastructure provider's standard practices.
We do not retain personal information indefinitely by default, and we do not operate a separate archive of website submissions beyond these ordinary practices.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information handled through this website. These measures include the security features provided by our hosting infrastructure — such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and the site — and access controls limiting who can review submissions.
No method of transmitting or storing information over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. While we work to protect the information entrusted to us, we cannot promise that information will be free from every risk, and we encourage you not to submit highly sensitive information — such as identification numbers or financial account details — through the website's forms.
Links to Other Websites
This website may link to third-party websites or resources, including our listing or profile pages elsewhere. Those websites operate under their own privacy practices, and we do not control how they collect or use information. When you follow a link to another website, this Privacy Policy no longer applies — we encourage you to review the privacy information of any site you visit.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Construction services are arranged with adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
If you believe that a child has submitted personal information through this website, please contact us using the details in Section 23 and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and whether applicable law applies to 4 Legacy Construction LLC, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to personal information connected to your enquiry:
- Access — to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correction — to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Deletion — to ask us to delete personal information, subject to exceptions the law may require (for example, records we must retain);
- Restriction — to ask us to limit how information is used in certain circumstances;
- Objection — to object to certain processing, in the circumstances the law allows;
- Portability — to ask for information you provided in a structured, commonly used format, where the law provides that right;
- Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on your consent, to withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing that already took place.
To make a request, email Info@4legacyconstruction.com with enough detail for us to find your enquiry (for example, the name and email address you used and the approximate date of your submission). We may ask for information to verify that the request is genuine before acting on it. If you use an authorized agent, we may ask for documentation of that authorization.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right that applies to you. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you may have the right to contact your local data protection or consumer protection authority.
State and Regional Privacy Rights
Several states and regions have enacted privacy laws that grant residents specific rights over personal information. Whether a particular law applies depends on the law's terms, the nature of the business, and thresholds defined by the statute. Depending on where you live and whether such a law applies to 4 Legacy Construction LLC, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to access, correct, or delete it, to obtain a copy of it, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights.
Certain laws also regulate the sale of personal information and the use of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out from those practices is currently necessary. Requests under any applicable law can be submitted through the contact method described in Section 19, and we will handle them in the manner and within the timeframes the applicable law requires.
Do Not Track and Browser Privacy Signals
Some browsers can send “Do Not Track” signals or similar privacy preferences. Because this website does not track visitors across third-party websites and does not use analytics or advertising technologies, your browsing experience on this site does not change based on those signals — there is no cross-site tracking here for them to disable.
If we ever introduce technology that such signals are designed to control, we will revisit this section and explain how the signal is honored.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if the website's functionality changes or if new tools are introduced or retired. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date shown at the top of this page. The version published here is the version in effect.
Because form submissions do not enroll you in any mailing list, we do not notify visitors individually of policy updates; instead, we recommend checking this page if you would like to confirm current practices.
